About this experience

The Sunsphere is Knoxville, Tennessee’s iconic 1982 World’s Fair landmark. The 4th Floor Observation Deck features interactive exhibits, a historical timeline gallery, a memorabilia gift shop, and panoramic 360-degree views of downtown Knoxville, World’s Fair Park, the Tennessee River, the University of Tennessee campus, and the Great Smoky Mountains.

NOTICE: 
The observation deck closes Mon-Sat from 12:30-1:30 for an employee meal break. 

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW WHEN YOU ARRIVE:

• Only the 3rd floor Sunsphere Welcome Center and 4th floor Observation Deck are open to the public.
• Check in at the 3rd floor Sunsphere Welcome Center at your indicated reservation time. The Welcome Center directly overlooks World's Fair Park creek, so follow the path to the far side of the Sunsphere structure for access.
• Veterans and First Responders receive $1 off adult ticket prices; discount is only available for tickets purchased in-person.
• World’s Fair Park and the Welcome Center is pet-friendly, but only service animals are allowed on the Sunsphere's Observation Deck.
• Jumping on the elevator is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Fines of $1,500+ are enforced.

VALID FOR DATE AND TIME ON TICKET ONLY. NON TRANSFERABLE. NON REFUNDABLE. One ticket per person. No cancellations, refunds, rain checks or exchanges; will not be replaced if lost, stolen or unused. May not be copied or resold. Duplication will result in revocation without refund and ejection. Operating dates, hours, prices and policies subject to change without notice.
